PS2 Controllers Unresponsive.

hi there,

So it’s 2017 and I still wanna play my PS2. I know for a fact my controllers work yet they won’t navigate any menus and when I’m in a game menu the scroll speeds upward like a stuck button. Tried holding down up buttons to “unstick”, didn’t work, even tried opening system and checking for damages and moving controller input hardware to check for loose connection. I got nothing. Time for a new PS2? I mean it is first gen after all.
